@Mrs. Lorraine Koch Yao was born in the USA. She married a Japanese citizen and has been living in Japan for more than 26 years. She has continued to teach English for many years, all the while living in a four generation family. She talked about gEnglish Education in Japan hand gThe Aging Societyh in English, which was translated by our Lounge staff. The participants who filled the meetng room were captivated by her frank way of speaking, her presonality and a sense of humor.

@Mrs. Lorraine Koch Yao believes that task-based learning is the way to improve students' joy of learning English and to become autonomous learners. And on gThe Aging Societyh, she encourages aging Japanese people, and gThe Mature Majorityh in America, whose society has become one of ageing societies to: respect all people; put their talents to good use and to let everyone benefit from the never ending resource of people from all age groups and forms.
